CNC Swiss Screw Machine Operator
Position Summary
Operate and maintain CNC Star Swiss Lathe Screw Machines, including setup, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance. Role may also involve working with Tornos cam-operated screw machines and Star CNC screw machines.

- $27.00–$37.00 per hour, based on experience
Essential Functions
- Set up, troubleshoot, operate, and maintain CNC Swiss screw machines.
- Measure small precision parts using micrometers, comparators, and vision systems.
- Read and interpret engineering blueprints.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records.
- Utilize strong reading, writing, and basic math skills.
- Meet production schedules and quality standards.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Apply machine shop theory, shop math, material machinability, and layout techniques.
- Collaborate with engineering to resolve technical questions and issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Apprenticeship training and/or 2+ years of relevant experience preferred; willing to train the right candidate.
