Are you skilled in soldering and assembly, with a keen eye for detail? Ardent Staffing Solutions is seeking individuals experienced in electronic assembly and inspection, with a bonus for those familiar with tuning.

As an Assembly Technician, you'll be responsible for soldering components, as well as assembling, inspecting, and testing printed circuit boards. Will ensure assemblies meet quality standards. You'll play a crucial role in maintaining production specifications and standards, contributing to the success of our client's team.

  • Pay range is $21-22/hr
Essential Job Functions:
  • Performing various tasks to assemble electronic components, subassemblies, products, or systems by following work orders, production drawings or verbal instructions.
  • Completing intermediate assembly tasks such as potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, etching, impregnating, and color coding parts and assemblies.
  • Conducting on-line go-no-go testing and inspection using magnifying devices, measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
  • Inspecting products in real time to ensure they are built to print and meet IPC-610 workmanship standards.
  • Demonstrating proficiency in basic soldering and reworking SMT components.
Equipment used for Jobs:
  • Tote bins, trays, and carts for efficient organization.
  • Hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, cutters, forming tools, and soldering iron for precision work.
  • Solder pot and hot plate for soldering tasks.
  • Engraver for specialized marking needs.
  • Water test tank to ensure product durability.
  • Glue dispensing equipment for bonding applications.
  • Microscope for detailed inspections.
Required Knowledge/Education:
  • Must be able to comprehend written and oral instructions. 
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
  • 1-2 years of Electronic assembly and Inspection experience desired.
