Program Manager – Contract Manufacturing

Seeking an experienced Program Manager in Westborough, MA. The ideal candidate MUST have experience and a proven track record in managing a contract manufacturing program that involves PCBA and military/aerospace or DOD contracts.
As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing a business unit, negotiating quotes, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities of the Program Manager include::
  • Manage and drive success for a large DOD/Military PCBA contract manufacturing program.
  • Responsible for the overall Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) process for the customer. Maintain and drive Action Item List.
  • Serve as key interface between the customer and the CFT responsibilities. Represent CFT in management account reviews and aligning the criteria with the customer expectations.
  • Work closely with Operations and Supply Chain to ensure timely implementation of production schedules.
  • Provide and manage program updates inclusive of quality, cost and delivery.
  • Ability to interface with key managers to achieve escalation of projects as required for completion.
  • Responsible for sales order process as it relates to customer change requirements.
  • Coordinate the program Excess & Obsolete (E&O) Mitigation Plan.
  • Coordinate new quotes and ECO cost impact. Contract Review and Negotiation
  • Communicate documentation needs and ensure receipt of requirements for product builds.
Program Manager Candidates Must Have
  • Must have 3-5 years of program management and project management specifically in the PCBA and Contract Manufacturing industry – REQUIRED
  • Must have 3-5 years of experience in managing Military, Aerospace, or Department of Defense Programs and contracts
  • CEPM Certification strongly preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively with suppliers or customers with direction and oversight
  • Effective interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication, as well as presentation skills
  • Ability to take on project leadership/ownership
  • Proven ability to complete projects in a timely manner
  • Ability to support a 24/7 global business operation as required. Available for travel up to 10% of the time, including day, overnight and internationally, as required
  • Demonstrate discretion, confidentiality, independent judgment and professionalism
  • Proven experience with military, DOD, or aerospace – contract manufacturing, and proven experience with Printed Circuit Board (PCBs).
