Ardent Staffing is partnering with a cutting-edge robotics company to find a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support prototype and production operations. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, innovative environment where you'll contribute directly to the success of critical build projects.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and kit materials for assembly builds, ensuring accurate and timely delivery to production teams
- Transport components, subassemblies, and circuit boards between inventory, production teams, and technicians for testing and rework
- Return completed or unused parts to inventory while updating records to maintain inventory accuracy
- Track and verify material availability, and report shortages or discrepancies
- Safely move materials between storage, production, and testing areas using appropriate methods
- Contribute to improvements in material flow, organization, and tracking systems
Requirements:
- Previous experience in material handling, kitting, or logistics, preferably in an R&D or prototype environment
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Salesforce, or similar platforms
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple material flow tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and using material handling equipment
- Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, inventory systems)
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
