We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Assembler for a temp-to-perm opportunity supporting the assembly of MRI coils and related products. The ideal candidate will have strong soldering and cable assembly skills and experience working with printed circuit boards (PCBs) in a regulated environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble electrical and mechanical subassemblies and final MRI coil products.
- Perform SMT and through-hole soldering on PCBs using RoHS-compliant solder.
- Crimp and assemble cables per specifications and engineering drawings.
- Cut and measure cable accurately using calipers or rulers per assembly prints.
- Follow ESD protocols and ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures.
- Inspect components and assemblies to ensure compliance with IPC-610 and other quality standards.
- Document and report any discrepancies or nonconformities to management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
- Comply with ISO, CE, and FDA manufacturing standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient soldering skills using RoHS materials.
- Experience with IPC-610 and/or MIL-STD-5000; NASA certification is a plus but not required.
- Prior work in regulated environments such as medical device or aerospace manufacturing.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
