Cable/Harness Assembler
Ardent Staffing is seeking a skilled Cable Assembler to join a growing team manufacturing custom cable harnesses and electromechanical assemblies. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with strong hands-on assembly experience who wants to contribute to high-quality production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret customer blueprints, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and work instructions
- Accurately cut, strip, solder, and terminate wires to meet customer specifications
- Use various hand tools including wire cutters, wire strippers, and crimping tools
- Perform in-process inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards
- Build and inspect products to IPC-620 standards
- Identify and troubleshoot production issues
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Work collaboratively in a team-based environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical training or certifications in electronics a plus)
- Proven experience in cable assembly manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of standard manufacturing tools
- Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed work instructions
- Skilled in using measurement tools and understanding units of measure
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on quality
- Motivated and adaptable to learn new technologies and processes
