Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembler to join our team in Hudson, NH. This is a 1st shift, temp-to-perm opportunity focused on box build and complex mechanical assembly. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accuracy, attention to detail, and prior experience in a manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble product parts on the assembly line in accordance with production guidelines
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, travelers, and bills of material
- Use measuring tools, crimp tools, wire cutting equipment, stripping machines, and torque tools
- Perform soldering on pins, contacts, and solder cups
- Apply heat shrink sleeving and boots during assembly
- Conduct spot checks to ensure adherence to quality standards (IPC-610, IPC-620)
- Report product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions to management
- Maintain safety practices and wear PPE as required
- Keep work area organized and clean
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and follow blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Experience with soldering and wiring (strong plus)
- IPC-610 and IPC-620 certification preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and physical dexterity
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
