Part Time Production Specialist
Part-Time Production Specialist – Temp-to-Perm ($20–$23/hr)
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual for an entry-level, temp-to-perm position in the defense industry. This role is ideal for a proactive team player who can contribute to the overall success of our business.
The position involves operating and maintaining laser engraving and other print-related equipment. The successful candidate will ensure the safety, quality, and efficiency of all production processes. Strong organization, the ability to read and interpret work instructions independently, and proficiency with design software like CorelDRAW are required to create high-quality identification labels and nameplate designs.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate printing and laser engraving equipment to produce high-quality products.
- Work with vector artwork using design software, including CorelDRAW or similar programs.
- Accurately measure and verify that engravings and products meet work order specifications.
- Troubleshoot issues and perform routine maintenance and cleaning on equipment.
- Assist with inventory tasks such as lifting, packing, and arranging products for shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

This is a part-time position. Candidates must be able to work within one of the following core shifts, Monday through Friday:

- 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Experience with or ability to quickly learn new computer software for graphic design (e.g., CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, AutoCAD).
- Ability to learn, reference, and retain product-specific information.
- Good communication skills and a "can-do" attitude.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Must have reliable transportation.
