Senior Production Scheduler

Summary

We are seeking a decisive, resilient Master Production Scheduler to own site-wide production scheduling for PCBAs and system builds. This role requires a strong operator with the confidence to lead the plan, hold teams accountable, and drive execution across functions. You will translate customer requirements into realistic, executable schedules based on materials, capacity, and manpower, while proactively resolving constraints and bottlenecks. This position reports directly to the hiring manager.

Location

  • Onsite in Westborough, MA

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the site’s master production schedule; ensure on-time work order release and completion.
  • Develop and maintain schedules for PCBA and system builds based on MRP work order demand.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and program management to establish the advanced schedule and perform capacity requirements planning.
  • Lock down 1+1 week schedules with program management and Purchasing; escalate and clear roadblocks rapidly.
  • Create factory schedules and resolve conflicts considering operational calendars, manpower, product lines, and machine capabilities.
  • Ensure demand change processes are followed prior to ERP updates; maintain schedule integrity in the ERP.
  • Lead master schedule meetings: highlight at-risk work orders, drive actions, and approve changes based on material and capacity analysis.
  • Support ISO-related Quality Management Systems, including quality, environment, health, safety, and security.
  • Support corporate and site 6S objectives.
  • Perform additional related duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Contract manufacturing experience required.
  • ERP planning experience required; Epicor preferred.
  • Senior-level planning expertise with deep understanding of MRP and capacity planning principles.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, VLOOKUP, and pivot tables.
  • Strong communicator with the resilience to challenge, influence, and align stakeholders under pressure.
  • Highly organized, results-oriented, and comfortable setting priorities and making decisions.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in planning, operations, supply chain, or related field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; hands-on ERP scheduling experience required.
  • APICS CPIM certification preferred.

Reporting Line

  • Reports directly to the general manager.

Compensation

  • Salary: Approximately $100,000, depending on experience and qualifications. May be increased for highly qualified candidates.
