Ardent Staffing Solutions is seeking a Material Handler to join our client’s high-tech manufacturing team in Waltham, MA. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a cutting-edge organization where precision, teamwork, and attention to detail are key.
- Location: Waltham, MA
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:30 – 4pm
- Pay: $26/hour
What You’ll Do:
- Pick, pull, and distribute materials for production and internal teams
- Receive and stock materials accurately, ensuring proper labeling and location assignment
- Process inventory using ERP software (training provided)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Prepare and pack shipments with care
- Perform cycle counts and inventory checks to ensure accuracy
- Operate forklifts (certification required), pallet jacks, and other material-moving equipment
- Assist with material kitting for production
What You Bring:
- MUST have experience in material handling or logistics in a technical or R&D setting
- Experience using Forklift and Equipment Operation – Certification (or willingness to obtain) to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Must have demonstrated track record of job stability
- Comfortable using inventory tracking systems like SAP or Salesforce
- Ability to use an ERP system (like Rootstock) for tracking incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Attention to Detail – Ensuring accurate labeling, storage, and packaging of materials to support quality and operational goals.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Solid communication and teamwork skills
