Robotics NPI Technician
Ardent Staffing Solutions is partnering with a cutting-edge robotics company in Waltham, MA to recruit a Robotics NPI Technician to support their fast-paced engineering team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity at our client’s site, where you'll work directly on next-generation automation systems and robotic grippers. This is a dynamic role for someone who thrives on problem-solving, iteration, and building things that have never existed before.
- Location: Waltham, MA
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Pay: $55 per hour
What You'll Do:
- Assemble, test, and troubleshoot custom electric actuators and robotic grippers
- Conduct diagnostics on PCBAs and electromechanical components
- Create and document detailed assembly processes and custom tooling
- Collaborate with engineers to refine prototype designs and ensure quality builds
- Contribute to hands-on development of robotic subassemblies in a lab setting
What You Bring:
- 6+ years of mechanical experience (robotics, automotive, aerospace, etc.)
- Strong skills in electromechanical assembly and troubleshooting
- Experience using SolidWorks or CATIA for basic CAD tasks
- Bonus if you have fabrication or electrical systems experience
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, and eager to learn
