Ardent Staffing is actively hiring a skilled Screen Print/Press Operator to support a leading manufacturer in Fitchburg, MA. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with printing experience who thrives in a hands-on production environment. Candidates should be comfortable setting up and running screen printing presses and performing quality inspections to ensure all output meets customer specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate screen printing presses
- Mix and apply inks according to job requirements
- Load/unload materials and monitor press performance
- Conduct in-process and final inspections for quality, alignment, and color accuracy
- Perform regular cleaning and minor press maintenance
- Adjust digital print files and machine settings as needed
- Track production metrics and maintain accurate records
- Operate related equipment such as cutters or laminators
- Follow all safety procedures and ISO/ITAR guidelines
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of screen printing or related press operation experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical aptitude and eye for detail
- Ability to work independently and follow standard operating procedures
- U.S. Citizen or permanent resident (required due to ITAR regulations)
- Must pass a pre-employment background check
