Ardent Staffing is partnering with a well-established manufacturing facility in Fitchburg to fill a Screen Print/Press Operator position. We’re looking for a dependable and detail-oriented individual with hands-on printing experience to join a team dedicated to high-quality production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor screen print presses efficiently
- Mix inks and fill ink fountains as specified by job requirements
- Inspect printed materials for alignment, ink coverage, and clarity
- Make adjustments to digital files such as fonts, graphics, and color separations
- Maintain and clean printing equipment; perform basic repairs
- Handle materials for multiple print passes and maintain an organized workflow
- Follow job orders and ensure all paper, ink, and stock meet job specs
- Track production and maintain accurate time records
- Work closely with team leads to meet daily production goals
- Monitor environmental factors like humidity and temperature for print quality
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in printing (screen printing preferred)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
- High attention to detail and quality standards
- Able to work independently and follow standard operating procedures
- Must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Protected Individual (per ITAR regulations)
- Must pass a pre-employment background check
