We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Medical Device Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will work with microscopes, UV curing machines, adhesives, and fine assembly tools to produce high-quality medical devices. This position requires strong manual dexterity, fine motor skills, and the ability to follow precise instructions while maintaining adherence to strict quality standards.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Medical Device Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will work with microscopes, UV curing machines, adhesives, and fine assembly tools to produce high-quality medical devices. This position requires strong manual dexterity, fine motor skills, and the ability to follow precise instructions while maintaining adherence to strict quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble small, intricate medical device components using microscopes, UV curing machines, adhesives, tweezers, cutters, wire strippers, and other specialized tools.
- Handle wires ranging from 32 gauge or larger; perform soldering as required.
- Perform repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
- Study, interpret, and follow assembly instructions, blueprints, and sketches.
- Conduct spot checks on products to ensure compliance with approved quality standards.
- Report product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions to management promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company standards.
- Collaborate with team members and assist in multiple work areas as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling very small components.
- Fine motor skills for precise assembly work.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and sketches.
- Experience working with microscopes and UV curing machines.
- Soldering skills preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow verbal and written directions in English.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform repetitive movements for extended periods.
- Capability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble small parts consistently.
- Ability to sit or stand for long durations as required by the work process.
