Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced PCB Assembly / Soldering Technician for a temp-to-perm opportunity in Nashua, NH. The ideal candidate has strong SMT and THT soldering experience and is comfortable working under a microscope for full days in a high-reliability, Class 3 environment.
Responsibilities & Requirements
- Must be able to work from:
- Assembly drawings
- Visual aids
- Samples
- Oral and formal written instructions
- Must have extensive on-the-job training and knowledge of:
- SMT and THT assembly and soldering
- Component identification
- Polarity verification
- Candidate must demonstrate excellent soldering skills and be able to perform in accordance with:
- J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610 Class 3 requirements or equivalent
- Must be proficient in soldering SMT and THT components using a microscope for full days
- Experience / Background:
- Certification to J-STD-001 is not required, however qualified candidates must have a minimum of 5 years soldering experience
- Strong knowledge of IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 is required
- Current or previous certifications are preferred but not required
Compensation & Opportunity
- Pay: $22–$24 per hour, depending on experience
- Type: Temp-to-perm with the opportunity to convert to a permanent position based on performance and business needs
