Ardent Staffing Solutions is seeking a reliable and hardworking General Production Worker to support a sheet metal fabrication facility. This is a hands-on role assisting with various stages of production, material handling, and assembly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities
Production Support:
- Assist with setup, maintenance, and operation of machinery
- Load and unload materials and products
- Support tasks including deburring, graining, hardware insertion, and assembly
- Follow safety and quality guidelines during production processes
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Material Handling:
- Transport materials between workstations as directed
- Support inventory checks and stock control
- Ensure proper handling and storage of sheet metal and related materials
Safety and Maintenance:
- Follow all workplace safety protocols
- Report machinery issues, safety hazards, or maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to company policies and safety regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in manufacturing or a physically demanding role is required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Familiarity with hand tools and basic machinery preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Team player with good communication skills
