Title: Data Labeler / Data Annotator
Pay Rate: $24.00-$28.00 hourly

Type: 3-6 Months – Full Time – 40 Hours
We’re hiring for our client in Wilmington, MA – Seeking a highly detail-oriented and meticulous Data Labeler. This candidate will be crucial in training our artificial intelligence and machine learning models by accurately annotating, categorizing, and verifying various types of data. Your work will directly impact the performance and accuracy of our AI systems. This is not an Administrative or CS role.
Responsibilities
- Label, tag, and annotate data points (e.g., images, text, audio, video) according to project-specific guidelines.
- Categorize data to support model training and ensure consistency across datasets.
- Review and verify the accuracy and quality of your own and others' labeled data.
- Identify and report anomalies, errors, or potential biases found within datasets.
- Transcribe images and video files to create text datasets.
- Collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers to improve labeling processes and guidelines.
- Stay updated on best practices and software developments in data annotation and AI/ML.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently on large datasets.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency with computers and general software applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in data annotation or a related field.
- Familiarity with specific annotation tools (e.g., Labelbox, Snorkel).
- Basic understanding of computer vision or machine learning concepts.
- Experience with specific data types, such as text, image, or video annotation.
