Job Description – Production Lead (2nd shift)
Direct Hire opportunity
Location: Hudson, NH
Hours: 3 pm – 11 pm (may differ)
Pay: 19.50/hr.
Primary Responsibilities
The Production Leader is responsible for preparing production paperwork, restocking and maintaining production cells, and leading/training employees on processes and procedures. This role also requires operating injection molding machines, including inspection, assembly, and packaging, to cover breaks and absenteeism when needed. Must have some experience with Injection Molding.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Communicate with the Shift Supervisor regarding daily tasks and priorities.
- Assist with production paperwork, labels, and job set-up.
- Operate machines to cover breaks and support special projects as assigned.
- Train new and existing operators on proper machine operation.
- Perform quality checks on production lines and equipment following best practices.
- Set up machinery and ensure all necessary production materials are available.
- Accurately record data and maintain production documentation.
- Identify and report quality issues to technicians and supervisors.
- Weigh, count, and package finished goods for shipping in accordance with work order instructions.
- Record production and scrap data on P-charts.
Education, Training, Skills, and Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Machine Operator in plastic injection molding or a related industry.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Knowledge of plastic molded part defects and their causes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Personal Attributes
- Team-oriented, with strong collaboration and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs frequently.
- Capable of visually inspecting and packaging products.
