You will play a vital role in our production team, taking ownership of the complete electrical build process for our sophisticated machinery. What You'll Do:
- Build with Precision: You'll assemble electrical sub-panels, cabinets, and wiring harnesses, ensuring every component is perfectly in place.
- Master the Wire: Expertly solder and crimp small-gauge wires (10–32 AWG) while interpreting schematics and technical drawings with ease.
- Impact Production: Your work will directly support our production goals, helping us meet deadlines and deliver high-quality products.
- Innovate and Improve: Propose and implement process improvements to boost efficiency, cut costs, and enhance safety across the board.
- Mentor and Lead: Share your knowledge and cross-train other technicians, elevating the skills of the entire team.
- Collaborate for Success: Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering to develop new fixtures, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement.
What You'll Bring:
- Technical Know-How: The ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings is a must.
- Tool Proficiency: You'll be comfortable using a variety of hand tools, drills, and crimping tools.
- Wiring Expertise: Strong experience with soldering electrical components and familiarity with IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards are highly valued.
- Problem-Solving Skills: You are a natural at identifying and reporting failures, and you're always looking for ways to make processes better.
- Team Spirit: We're looking for someone with strong communication and mentoring skills who thrives in a collaborative environment.
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Technical training in precision manufacturing is a plus.
