A well-established manufacturing company is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Logistics Coordinator to support both domestic and international shipping operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring that inventory, compliance, and coordination with cross-functional teams are handled accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, both domestic and international
- Coordinate logistics documentation to ensure compliance with customs regulations
- Manage inventory control, including receiving and cycle counts
- Collaborate with departments including Production, Quality, and Customer Service
- Ensure accurate documentation for export/import including HS codes, valuation, and Incoterms
- Support day-to-day trade activities while adhering to trade compliance standards
- Maintain proper records in ERP and follow best practices in warehouse operations
What You Bring to the Table:
- Experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory control
- Familiarity with international trade compliance and global freight processes
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and operate in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Nice to Have:
- Hands-on experience with customs documentation and international shipping paperwork
- Knowledge of trade laws, free trade agreements, and country of origin rules
- Forklift experience is a plus
