Sr. Buyer – PCBA MFG
Join a growing and well-established Aerospace and PCBA manufacturer in Central Massachusetts as a Buyer I.
We’re seeking a detail-driven procurement professional with experience in printed circuit boards, components, and contract manufacturing. This is a high-impact role with direct influence over the supply chain, supplier relationships, and on-time project delivery.
- Title: Sr. Buyer – PCBA CM
- Location: Westborough, MA
- Salary: $70-85K PLUS Great Benefits Package and 401K
- Schedule: Full-time, on-site
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage sourcing, purchasing, and delivery of build-to-print PCBs, components, plastics, and sheet metal
- Run MRP purchase suggestions, manage PO revisions, and maintain accurate supply chain records
- Evaluate and advise on Purchase Price Variance (PPV) and availability to support program managers
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to reduce excess and obsolete inventory
- Resolve issues related to non-conforming materials and ensure compliance
- Provide timely updates on material status for assigned programs
- Support supplier selection aligned with company supply chain strategy
- Contribute to new product introduction and cost-reduction initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 demonstrated experience purchasing PCBs and electronic components in a contract manufacturing setting
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Proficient in Excel; Access knowledge is a plus
- Prior experience with ERP systems; Epicor experience required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in supply chain or materials management
