DVT Hardware Test Technician

Ardent Staffing is looking for a Hardware Test Technician to support our client's product testing during the design phase, ensuring electronic components perform at their best before production. This is a hands-on role where you’ll collaborate closely with engineers, execute test plans, troubleshoot, and document your findings to keep projects moving forward.
- Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Pay: $32-$40/hour (based on experience)
Your Day-to-Day:
- Execute Design Verification Testing (DVT) plans on advanced electronic assemblies
- Document test procedures and report clear, detailed results
- Perform thermal chamber tests to ensure performance under varying conditions
- Collaborate with engineers to improve product designs and advocate for quality
What You Bring to the Team:
- Experience using lab tools like oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, and thermal probes
- Ability to read and interpret PCBA schematics
- Strong attention to detail and an organized approach to testing
- Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and multitask effectively
- Clear communication skills to report test data
Bonus Skills:
- Soldering and rework experience
- Familiarity with communication interfaces (CAN, Ethernet, SPI, I2C)
- Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical test setups
- Background in compliance testing or working with robotic systems
