Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the production floor, ensuring equipment and processes run efficiently.
- Conduct time studies to validate operation rates and recommend improvements.
- Develop and improve fixture designs and review designs for manufacturability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline product development to production.
- Review and adjust rates and operations within MRP software.
- Evaluate and recommend new equipment, while establishing maintenance schedules.
- Train operators on equipment usage and programming, enhancing team capabilities.
- Act as a backup for programming as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, OR
- Associate’s Degree with 5+ years of technical experience.
