Maintenance Technician
Ardent Staffing Solutions is seeking a dedicated Facility Maintenance Technician for our client in Waltham. This is an exciting opportunity to join a top-notch Facilities Maintenance team and contribute to the smooth operation of a large robotics facility.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for performing routine maintenance, conducting inspections, and handling repairs to ensure the facility's safety and functionality.
The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities:
- Complete work orders for repairs using the client’s work order management system.
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair facility equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to uphold safety and functionality.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
- Assist with furniture and equipment relocations.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in building systems maintenance within a large commercial facility.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and operating manuals.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Trade experience is a plus.
