Assembly/Soldering Technician – Temp to Hire
Location: Concord, NH
Pay Rate: $22/hr – Temp-to-hire
Job Description:
Our client in Concord, NH, is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician with a focus on soldering capabilities. This is a temp-to-hire position. The ideal candidate will have experience in assembly, inspection, and testing of electronic assemblies, with a strong emphasis on soldering. Familiarity with tuning is a huge plus, although the main responsibilities will revolve around assembly and soldering rather than inspection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, products, or systems following production drawings, work orders, and verbal instructions.
- Perform intermediate assembly tasks, such as potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, etching, impregnating, and color-coding parts and assemblies.
- Conduct on-line go/no-go testing and inspection using magnifying devices, measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
- Inspect products in real time to ensure they are built to print and meet IPC-610 workmanship standards.
- Perform basic soldering and rework of SMT components.

- Hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, cutters, forming tools, soldering iron, etc.)

- Engraver
- Water test tank
- Glue dispensing equipment
- Microscope
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
- 1-2 years of electronic assembly and inspection experience is desired.
